Teal Partners is the controller of all Personal Data it processes about its customers, potential customers, suppliers, job applicants, office visitors, website visitors, visitors to its social media, and individuals who have inquired about its services or otherwise come into contact with it. Teal Partners is a private limited liability company incorporated under Belgian law, having its offices at Damplein 23, 2060 Belgium, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0642.824.542 ("Teal Partners", "we", "our").

The processing of your Personal Data for these purposes is based on your consent or your request to take steps prior to entering into a contract. You are free to provide us with your Personal Data for this purpose and you may object to such processing and/or withdraw your consent at any time.
Your Personal Data will be deleted after a period of 1 year after the closing of the application process, unless you give your consent to keep your Personal Data in our recruitment database.

Office visitors
When you visit our office, we process your Personal Data to enable the proper functioning and protection of our guest Wi-Fi network.
If you provide services in our office as a contractor or a contractor's employee, we also process your Personal Data for supplier management and (possible) dispute purposes.

When you attend events
When you attend an event hosted at our office, the processing of your data is based on your consent or on Teal Partners' legitimate interest to ensure that the event runs smoothly. You are free to provide us with your Personal Data for this purpose and you may withdraw your consent or object to the processing for this purpose at any time.
When we film and/or take photographs of events organized at our office, your Personal Data will also be processed. These images and recordings may be used as promotional material and for posts on social media. We strive as much as possible to take non-focused photos that reflect the atmosphere (for example, photos that are spontaneous and not posed and reflect the general atmosphere without specifically highlighting certain individuals). The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest to capture the events organized at our office in images and communicate about them.
In the case of targeted photographs or images, we strive to request your consent in advance whenever possible. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed or if you do not wish your images or recordings to be used, you have the right to object at any time. 5. Who may Personal Data be shared with?
As a function of the purposes described in Article 4 above, we may need to share your Personal Data. Teal Partners is selective in the parties to whom it provides data and chooses them carefully. We always ensure that there are sufficient guarantees for data protection and confidentiality. When we share your data, the recipients of your Personal Data are not allowed to use it for purposes other than those as contractually agreed. These external parties may thus receive and/or process your Personal Data only according to very clearly defined instructions.
Specifically, we may share your Personal Data with parties belonging to the following categories:
- processors acting on behalf of Teal Partners (i.e. suppliers, external service providers, partners,… engaged by Teal Partners), such as web hosting companies, software suppliers, analytics tool providers, eSignature companies, etc. Teal Partners enters into a data processing agreement with parties that require access to Personal Data in order to perform their services.
- companies we have engaged for recruitment purposes (e.g. an external recruitment agency)
- bookkeepers, accountants, auditors, lawyers, insurance brokers and insurers of Teal Partners
- supervisory authorities and other government bodies
- other third parties (e.g. buyers and potential buyers or other parties involved in an intended reorganization, sale, joint venture, merger, allocation, transfer or other transaction relating to our business activities, assets, company or shares)

6. Where do we process Personal Data?
Your Personal Data will be kept in Belgium, another country within the European Economic Area or a destination country which, according to the European Commission, offers an adequate level of protection. In the event of a transfer of data to a destination country that does not in itself offer an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission, Teal Partners will agree with the party in question on the necessary contractual safeguards by concluding a European Commission's model data protection contract (so-called standard contractual clauses).
7. How do we protect Personal Data?
Teal Partners has in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent or act against any unauthorised and unlawful processing or disclosure, as well as accidental loss, modification or destruction of Personal Data. Before the introduction of new methods of data processing, particularly new IT systems, technical and organisational measures to protect Personal Data will be defined and implemented by Teal Partners.
These measures will be based on the state of the art, the risks of processing, and the need to protect the Personal Data. Furthermore, these technical and organisational measures for protecting Personal Data will regularly be adjusted to the technical developments and organisational changes.
8. How long do we keep personal data?
We will keep your Personal Data no longer than necessary for the purposes for which we collected the data as described in this Privacy Policy.
In addition, there are laws and regulations that apply and which set periods for retention of Personal Data. Hence, longer retention periods may be required by a legal or contractual obligation or in the event of a dispute.
9. What rights do you have as a data subject?
As a data subject, you enjoy the following rights vis-à-vis Teal Partners:
- Right of access. You have the right to obtain confirmation about whether or not your Personal Data is being processed and, if so, to obtain access to your Personal Data and information regarding the processing.
- Right to rectification. You have the right to correct incorrect Personal Data , complete your Personal Data and have recipients to whom Personal Data was provided, informed of the rectification.
- Right to erasure. Subject to certain conditions, you have the right to have your Personal Data erased. If your Personal Data was made public, Teal Partners will take reasonable steps to inform the controllers who are processing the Personal Data of your request to erase it and to inform the recipients of Personal Data of your request to erase it.
- Right to restriction of processing. Subject to certain conditions, you have the right to obtain restriction of the processing of your Personal Data , and, in case of restriction, have the processing limited to mere storage.
- Right to data portability. Subject to certain conditions, you have the right to be provided with your Personal Data , which you can reuse as you wish. If you request so, Teal Partners has the obligation to transfer your Personal Data directly to another controller.
- Right to object. You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data based on certain grounds and the right at all times to object to the use of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to withdraw consent. If you have given your consent to our processing of your Personal Data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without such withdrawal affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
- Automated individual decision-making, including profiling. In the case of automated individual decision-making, you have the right to obtain human intervention, give your point of view, receive an explanation for the automated decision, and challenge that decision.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
